Quality Assurance Director search for dairy cooperative in Michigan
BY 3P Partners | October 17, 2018

Large dairy farmer owned cooperative and dairy processor sought a Quality Director to provide hands-on leadership, training and development for all quality, food safety and lab personnel across two SQF Level III certified manufacturing plants producing butter, nonfat dry milk, cream and condensed skim milk in Michigan.  In addition to a recently acquired specialty cheese plant in Indiana.

3P Partners conducted a search to find a candidate to develop and execute a long-term Quality Strategy, ensuring that all systems and policies were in compliance with federal and state regulations, while developing a plan to get their newly acquired site SQF level III certified.  3P Partners were able to produce a shortlist of five highly qualified candidates with multi-site SQF certification experience in the dairy industry within two weeks.  Two were selected for onsite interviews and the successful candidate was offered within a 6 week period.

The successful candidate had a background working for a large dairy cooperative with 11+ years of experience working at a leading dairy producer where they had direct oversight for eight direct reports and nine facilities that were all SQF Level III certified.  He recently relocated his family to Michigan for the opportunity and is excited to build and execute a long-term Quality strategy at a dairy cooperative with a strong reputation for producing quality products for their members.
