Large, vertically integrated wine business based in the Sonoma region sought a Production Planner / Scheduler to add direct value to their finance team due to significant acquisition-driven growth over the past 3-5 years. This is a highly-visible position as it will collaborate with key stakeholders including Winemaking, Marketing, Purchasing, Wholesale and DTC Sales, Logistics and Distribution. Due to the size and complexity of this business, they sought a candidate with a background in financial analysis to effectively schedule the seasonal production across all wineries and 3rd party bottlers, as well as manage inventory on a day-to-day basis and conduct production data analysis in addition to other special projects.
3P Partners identified a candidate originally from the Santa Rosa area with exposure to the wine industry and a background in P&L analysis, budgeting and modeling ROI for capex projects. They also had experience providing senior leadership with forecasts based on Price, Volume, and Mix Analysis, KPI analysis, and financial and volume variance commentary.
