Family-owned frozen food business required an HR professional to develop and execute the HR strategy and support the seasonal ramp up from 350+ to 1,000+ employees for their multiple sites in the Central Valley, CA. The HR Manager would be responsible for talent management, organizational and leadership development, compensation and benefits, HR administration, safety and compliance, employee engagement, and hands-on coaching.
The successful candidate was a local bilingual HR professional with a strong background in recruitment and experience building an HR function within a rapidly expanding agricultural startup. More importantly, this person has experience connecting with all levels within an organization, i.e. from senior leadership to production level in order to foster a collaborative work environment focused on employee engagement. This search was completed within a 3 month period and just in time for season!
